Medieval Murder Mysteries
When the guys at MTG World asked if we wanted to go all dark and moody, we jumped at the chance.
For the launch of their new Medieval Murder Mysteries show we channelled David Fincher and Caravaggio to create an ominous film and campaign artwork that explores how a scene fusing a modern crime drama and a classical work of art may look.
It was important to all that the scene was genuinely dramatic. Furthermore the work needed to have a strong Polish vibe yet feel trans-european, so we took inspiration from brutalist architecture and hard-hitting urban mise-en-scene to create a cinematic backdrop that felt straight from a big budget TV serial.
The result is a foreboding yet beautiful campaign.
